Therapy with Sarah (She/Her)
It takes great strength to be able to come to therapy. Oftentimes we face the fear of being scrutinized, coming to therapy, and being able to work on our mental health. I commend you for taking that big step in deciding to do therapy and choosing me as your therapist. We will work together on your goals no matter how small they are. While also maintaining a therapeutic alliance. My approach to therapy is being open, honest, empathetic, patient, authentic, and non-judgmental. My areas of specialty include the following: Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, PTSD, Anger management, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and the LGBTQ+ community.
I practice therapy from the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy foundation. I believe therapy can be straightforward gently and softly. I also practice using a person-centered approach because I believe all individuals coming to therapy are different. Let us work together and be the best possible version of you there is. If you or someone you know is interested, please do not hesitate to reach out and see if I’m a good fit for you as a therapist.
“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
-Carl Rogers
