Jamila Sinkler, LSW (she, her)
I believe therapy is beneficial to everyone, so congratulations on taking the first step. I like to foster a safe space when I do my work with people. So if you need to cry or throw a few swears in, go ahead and do not apologize. This space in the time we work together is for you and it’s judgement free. My method of choice is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. My primary goal is to show you how to break down the stressors of life and help you understand yourself. I am not here to tell you what to do, I’m here to help you find out what or where you want to be.
